Activision had previously announced that a Call of Duty mobile title was in the works for China and was being developed in partnership with Tencent. The latter's studio, Timi, is responsible for the game's creation and it is now being made available to North and South America, Europe and other regi

Call of Duty: Mobile boasts "multiple game modes" and several maps, including popular locations such as Nuketown and Crash. Activision says the game is "optimized for mobile," which should be the case although there's not much clarity in the statement. It probably means the controls, which could be a bit of a cause for concern, given COD 's fast-paced, all-action gamep

Over on consoles, it's being reported that Modern Warfare 4 may have a free-to-play component . If true, it could signal a big change in how the series' business model operates. Nothing is concrete at the moment, but many suggest a move like this could be in relation to a Battle Royale mode, if there are plans to include one. It is pretty typical to see Battle Royale and free-to-play going hand-in-hand, after

The iPad version houses the same features of the iPhone version - Challenge, Advanced and Self-Score. The difference? It looks a heck of a lot better on the iPad thanks to the real estate increase, and it's $4.99 on iTu

The map is a combination of Modern Warfare and Black Ops locations, which includes areas like Crash, Estate, and Standoff. Because this information is coming from a testing server, all of it could change down the line - even the map - so nothing is final until the game is officially relea

This week in mobile gaming, we search for big words, go on a nostalgic quest as a prince, check out an egg adventure, test the waters of crime life and get new ways to reap havoc on the undead - all with some mobile magic sprinkled on

Additionally, there are some teases near the end of the video that may have some players speculating about the scope of the game. For instance, an image of a number of approaching helicopters suggests that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 's battle royale mode, Blackout , may be available, and the appearance of a three-headed dog points to the inclusion of a Zombies game mode. The trailer further indicates that there is "more to co

Call of duty Collaborations of Duty: Mobile will be free-to-play, and it looks to bring together "a collection of beloved Call of Duty characters, maps, modes, and weapons" culled from across the series. This will include maps like Nuketown and Crash, which are seen in an announcement trailer that was recently sha

Eggs: Coming soon to an iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 3rd Gen is Eggs , a fun looking platformer full of physics features, obstacles and more than twelve levels. Take a peek at the video above and keep an eye out for it in the app store soon - priced at a cool 99 ce

GTA: Chinatown Wars Lite: Grand Theft Auto' s Chinatown Wars has been on the iPhone for some time now, but as an investment at $9.99. If you still haven't made the jump because you are either unsure if it's worth it or simply can't afford it, well you now have an alternative. The free lite version is available in the app store now, so there's no excuse to not partake in the thieving, drug peddling, gun wielding goodness that is Chinatown Wa

All the window-dressing doesn’t matter, however, if Call of Duty Mobile can’t find a solution to the touchscreen control problem. Does it? Well, kind of. There are two ways to play Call of Duty Mobile, either auto-fire or manual fire. When using auto-fire, your weapon automatically starts firing after your reticle lands on a target. It sounds like cheating, but it really isn’t. The game still takes fire rate, accuracy and bullet spread into account. So, you’ll still likely lose gunfights if you’re spraying and praying. In manual fire mode, players first need to ADS before they can fire.

While fans wait anxiously for information on the next console title, another report states that Call of Duty 2020 is becoming Black Ops 5 , following the recent development of Treyarch taking over development on the game. According to the report, Raven and Sledgehammer are staying on as support, but the change in control is apparently due to disagreements between the two studios. Inside sources describe the game's development as "a mess," so hopefully this change is a step in the right direct

Activision is doing what it can to bring Call of Duty to mobile devices in a way that will attract newcomers and longtime fans of the series alike. The developer is including many of the familiar game modes from consoles to Call of Duty: Mobile , such as Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Roy

Call of Duty: Mobile is built on Unity, and it is developed by the in-house studio at Tencent , the China-based gaming juggernaut. It has been "optimized for mobile," and, as previously stated, it will be available exclusively for iOS and Andr

The Playground LTM accommodates building by giving the player a greatly increased spawn rate of materials. Naturally, it didn't take long after Playground's release for YouTube to become flooded with wild creations, with some even choosing to rebuild areas of the map that were destroyed by the meteor at the end of Seaso
