Speaking to a nun reveals the woman ran off to the cemetery with her old pimp. John confronts the man, who is digging a grave after accidentally killing her. John duels the pimp, killing him and avenging the woman. It's a rather sad conclusion to Eva's story, showing just how dangerous life was in the Old West. It's unlike most of RDR1 's Stranger Missions, which usually feature moments of lev

Updated November 7, 2024, by Hamza Haq: Most games, open-world or otherwise, put very little emphasis on getting the side quest portion of the story right. Developers often focus all of their efforts on fleshing out the main story, the exploration, the progression system, and other factors. Side quests are mostly at the very bottom of the priority list for developers when, in reality, they are what gamers spend the most time doing, especially in open-world games where player freedom is at the core of the gameplay loop. The games that do get it right allow the player to remain immersed in the world setting, living and breathing the fiction as if they were a part of it. Open-world games with great side quests don't automatically become classics, but the ones that do always have a great questing experie

Eventually, fate reunited them once again on the Guarma island, Fussar's territory. We all know what happened to the dictator next and how Arthur destroyed his tower, killing him in the process, but aren't you curious about how Fussar made a well-maintained connection with Leviticus Cornwall and how he ended up calling the Guarman Governor "a great friend of Ameri

The reason why this first part’s side missions are more fun than the sequel’s is due to the challenge involved. These quests don’t care about your skill level and are equally difficult whether you’ve started your playthrough or ended the campa

Stuff like gambling, playing games like blackjack and roulette, allow for diverse kinds of entertainment. Crafting and modding options, diversity in the reputation setting, and similar gameplay techniques are all amplified in side missions, all of which aren’t truly available in the main campaign. To this end, completing these missions is the way to actually experience Fallout: New Veg

His son Jack is cold and distant, and his wife Abigal is worried that John will slip back into his desperado ways. After all the work John put in, it hardly seems fair. But as John himself says to his wife, "Ain't nothing fair. You know th

In what other game are players able to travel into a work of art to save a painter, be the murderer in a murder mystery mansion, or help a spirit find his rest? Oblivion 's side quests are considered by many fans to be the best in the series, though there could be more to take

On their games from the Grand Theft Auto to the Red Dead series, Rockstar has always based the cities on real-life cities: Liberty City (New York), Los Santos (Los Angeles), New Hanover (real-life Hannover in Germany), and so

When Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 , they showed a trailer for a game with Rockstar's logo. Fans were excited because they thought it meant Rockstar's latest game was about to be announced. However, it turned out to be an announcement that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to the PlayStation

John takes no pleasure in what he has to do, but he does it because he is a man of honor, and a man of honor can be manipulated in this world of chaos. If the roles were reversed and any of John's former allies were in his place, the only thing that might motivate them is gr

Much like other games on this list, Red Dead Redemption feels like a different entity when indulging in side missions. That’s because the strangers met out in the wilderness offer more depth in their challenges. There’s also the difference that can be felt in gameplay if playing as John Marston or his

Skyrim has proved time and time again to be Bethesda's darling child. Todd Howard even said that they only keep releasing new ports and versions of the game because fans keep buying it. The main quest is a bit anticlimactic, Www.Epicplayblog.Cc to be certain, but side quests are a different st

Before going any further, we need to address the ludonarrative dissonance in the room. Ludonarrative dissonance is when the story told by the narrative doesn't fit the story reinforced by the gameplay. It was first applied to Nathan Drake of Uncharted fame to discuss the oxymoronic nature of a charming rogue who has killed thousands of peo

This mission is fairly simple compared to the other ones. The player can find a woman named Jenny close to Ridgewood Farm in New Austin. Jenny is dying in the desert, not being able to move from her spot. The player can either leave her alone or give her some medicine. Unless players want to pursue a low-honor playthrough, it's only natural that most people will opt for the latter and give Jenny the aid she ne

John Marston did everything Edgar Ross asked him to do. For his actions, he was supposed to receive a pardon for his past. But John knows all to well that the past can't be killed, and in the end, it catches up to us
