Since the release of Wuthering waves Strategy Waves , Taoqi has been recognized as a support character with significant potential. However, her limited abilities and cumbersome rotation have generally relegated her to the lower tiers. In the current metagame, Taoqi finds herself surpassed by nearly all other support alternatives, notably Verina, Baizhi, and Yangyang. Nonetheless, there's a likelihood of her gaining more relevance in future updates as additional Resonators are introduced to the ros

The weapon comes equipped with a CRIT Rate substat and a passive that will increase ATK percent as you hack and slash your heart away. Since Jiyan demands to be on the field at all times, due to his secondary mode, Qingloong Mode, where he can unleash outrageous amounts of dam

If you are looking for an echo that isn’t a Void Thunder variant, you can try out Impermanence Heron or Flautist . Impermanence Heron will be another transformation echo that will allow you to do a single heavy attack or hold the button to use a flame breath attack in the area. This echo will also allow Yinlin to regain 10 Resonance Energy and if she uses her Outro Skill within 15 seconds, the next character’s damage dealt will be boosted by 12% . Flautist will allow Yinlin to emit Electro lasers continuously up to 10 times and gain Concerto Energy every time a hit lands.

Now that Yinlin has been introduced into Wuthering Waves , you might be somewhat confused about where to start with getting a build going and what team to set up with her to get the most out of Yinlin’s kit. First off, before you get started, it will be best to know what exactly Yinlin will excel at when on the field fighting enemies. This is a character that does a ton of area-of-effect damage and applies a mark on enemies to deal constant damage from the entire team when striking them. Yinlin has a very short burst window, so she won’t be your main dps, but she will be swapped in a lot if you are going to run with her on your team.

When making up a team composition in Wuthering Waves , you’ll want to consider adding a character that can provide shield protection to your team to mitigate incoming damage. There aren’t many shield characters in the 1.0 build right away, so there are only a couple of options for you to choose from when you get the characters. Jianxin is one of these two characters and can provide shields once her energy from attacking has been built up. She also has a few options on how to utilize her for your team. Jianxin is capable of being a support character or using her as a hybrid dps and support to gain some more out of her slot than just using shields.

What's more, Yuanwu’s Outro Skill grants the team an AoE damage-dealing effect and provides allies with anti-interruption capabilities. These buffs prove invaluable in boss encounters, making Yuanwu an exceptionally dependable unit for both campaign missions and game modes such as the Depths of Illusive Rea

The last echo, Impermanence Heron, will be for the Moonlit Clouds buffs . The Impermanence Heron will allow Jianxin to transform into the echo to fly around the battlefield and deal Havoc Damage with its breath attack. If you long-press the echo attack, Jianxin will stay transformed and deal additional Havoc Damage . Once the main attack hits, Jianxin will gain 10 Resonance Energy and the next character brought into the field will have a damage boost for 15 seconds.

When looking for a support character to pair with Jianxin, you can never go wrong with choosing Verina if you have her. She does really solid healing and when casting her Resonance Liberation you can swap her out and she will still damage enemies marked by her Resonance Liberation skill while healing the party. She’s going to be the strongest healer for your party if you need one. If Verina isn’t an option, then you can still use Baizhi to heal the party. She’s not the strongest or best, but she still gets the job done and overall has a fun kit to play around with. Baizhi is also a pseudo-puppet character that can combo well with Jianxin’s Resonance Liberation to deal some extra damage when in a pinch to squeeze in some extra damage.

While other characters like Encore adopt a similar playstyle to Lingyang's, no one has a kit as uniquely tailored as his. During his Ultimate, Lingyang takes to the skies, launching attacks on all enemies from an aerial stance to a ground position. This renders his moveset the most intriguing in the game, albeit at the expense of potentially bewildering players and penalizing tiny err

This is the point when your choice of battle pass weapon will matter more. There aren’t many characters that can utilize gauntlets, and the ones that can aren’t anything to write home about, but if you are a Lingyang fan for life, then choosing Stonard as your four-star weapon might be worth

The sword focuses on boosting your Resonator’s ATK by a percentage amount. Most DPS characters will benefit from this scaling buff, but you usually want to build CRIT rather than ATK on your Resonat
