Thankfully, players eagerly awaiting the company’s decision about their IP can still enjoy a complete experience with Baldur’s Gate 3, especially when a straightforward tank can offer a less complicated experience by focusing more on keeping the party alive rather than theatrics. With this in mind, players who are starting a new playthrough as a tank or leaning towards a vanguard-type character will need to equip their characters with the appropriate Heavy Armour. Thankfully, the Armour found in the beginning stages of the game are decent enough to ensure that the tank can keep the rest of the party al<br><br> <br>The Shadow Magic Sorcerer draws on the dark power of the Shadowfell to manipulate shadows to their advantage. Initially, this grants them 24m/80ft of Darkvision and the Strength of the Grave ability. This ability will trigger when your hit points are reduced to zero, restoring 1 hit point and preventing you from becoming downed. This only triggers once per long r<br><br>The first of these that players can find are the boots of Striding and the Shapeshifter's Boon Ring. The former are dropped by Minthara in Act 1 and will grant boosted movement speed and immunity to the "prone" condition while the wearer is concentrating on a spell.
